Best Disney Cruise Line Photos to Take on the Disney Dream
We just got back from a vacation to one of our favorite places—Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line.
This was our third Disney Cruise Line vacation. We loved it so much we made sure to book our placeholder cruise before we disembarked!
Thanks to Disney for offering us a discounted rate as part of our Disney Creators conference. As always, all opinions are my own.
We found great photo spots on Disney Castaway Cay, but if you are looking for great Disney Dream photos onboard the ship, here are a few must-take photos and classic Disney Cruise Line shots you won’t want to miss on your next Disney Cruise.
Must-Take Disney Cruise Line photos on Disney Dream
Deck 13—Aft
Deck 13 Aft is a great spot to capture a good shot of entering or leaving Disney’s Castaway Cay
Deck 12—Classic Funnel Shot
Who doesn’t love the classic funnel shot? This is a perfect iconic Disney Cruise Line photo. It’s a great photo with or without a person!
Deck 11—Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats Photo Spot
Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats has delicious and delightfully photogenic treats to eat and take photos of. Ralph’s Family Challenge and Vanellope’s Race Car are two perfect gelato treats to snag pics of in front of Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats.
Disney 5—It’s a Small World Nursery, Oceaneer Club and Lab, Edge, and Vibe
During Open House hours on the Disney Cruise Line, the kids’ clubs are great Disney Cruise Line photo spots. It’s a Small World Nursery (Infants 6 months-3 yrs), Oceaneer Club (ages 3-12), Oceaneer Lab (ages 3-12), Edge (ages 11-14), and Vibe (ages 14-17) are all very different yet photogenic.
Deck 4—The DIstrict
The adult section of the cruise ship offers “club” style bars and entertainment, and each bar within the District has its own style and flair. Great for some eclectic photo opps and Disney Cruise Line drink photos.
Deck 4—Promenade Deck
The Promenade Deck offers a great shot at Sunset and on Disney’s Castaway Cay port day.
Deck 3—Atrium lobby
Snag a photo in the Atrium lobby. I grabbed on with the mascot during pirate’s night in my Smee Disneybound.
Deck 3—Animator’s Palate
The Animator’s Palate restaurant is probably the most photographable restaurant on all of the Disney ships.

Deck 3—Portholes
Giant portholes offer a unique perspective and seating option throughout the ship and other Disney Cruise Line ships.
