Why cruise? We love cruising, both as a family and as a multigenerational clan. Over the years, I've been on nearly a dozen cruises—multigenerational cruises, girlfriends getaway cruises, family cruises, cruises with tweens, cruises with tweens, and cruises with little kids. As a family of 6, we've explored lots of destinations and traveled to numerous destinations via cruises. One of the things we love about cruises is that you get to explore lots of places at once and then you can decide if that destination is one you really love enough to spend the time and money to get to in order to go back and stay longer to explore more. Another great thing about cruising is that dining is included, so it's a great way to try foods you might not otherwise try because you don't want to pay for a meal you won't eat. Grab an extra appetizer or meal to split and you can all experiment with cuisine that maybe you haven't delved into before. The options are limitless. Read our posts for tips, tricks, and things to do while on your next cruise. We specialize in travel with teens and tweens so that is much of where you'll find our point of view coming from. In just about a week, I'll be boarding the Carnival Magic in Port Canaveral, Florida, and setting sail a 7 Day Western Caribbean Cruise for a week of family fun and sunset blissCruises
