Because we all know that smart home technology is where it is at, DISH Network features Amazon Alexa Integration so you can control the Hopper 2 & 3 DVR and navigate, search, and record TV content through your Alexa-enabled devices. You can also use voice commands to find content by saying prompts like “Tune to AMC” or “Find romantic comedy movies.” Too bad I can’t get my kids to respond to doing the dishes with those voice prompts. You can search for your favorite channels, shows, or actors with advanced voice recognition to complete your commands. It’s really easy, you just press and hold the button to enable voice recognition. Searching for your favorite shows doesn’t get any easier than being able to do it with your own voice.

With as much travel as I do, I love that taking my content and watching it on the go is an option! DISH Anywhere gives you access to 100% of your live and recorded entertainment anywhere you have an internet connection (or you can transfer the content to the DVR in advance for streaming without the use of Wi-Fi.) I can keep up on all of my Seahawks and Yankees games. I can also choose from thousands of On Demand titles if I’m in the mood for a movie instead of TV. And we’re HUGE Netflix junkies in our house, so I’m pleased to see DISH is the 1st major U.S. television provider to offer Netflix integration on DISH’s set-top box so there’s no more switching inputs. I can watch Netflix without changing anything in my setup. I love that DISH makes it easy!

DISH’s customer service and support are available 24/7, which is more than you can say for most TV companies. They also have a 99% signal reliability and nationwide availability. Another plus? I can’t stand having to make a call and getting lousy customer service. When you call to have an installation, the whole installation process is free, too. Their professional and courteous technicians will come out to your home and assemble and mount your satellite dish, including doing a full site survey to determine the best outdoor placement of the dish for the best reception. They’ll also install your whole home DVR and receivers and download and update any Hopper software so you’re ready to watch the moment they leave.

That’s cool that you can stream your TV on your devices! I have definitely watched my shows on my laptop in the airport a time or two to try and keep up while I was traveling, lol!
