Lady Sif and Norse Mythology
Mobius throws Loki in a Time Cell. The doors look like the other doors the TVA travels through on the TemPad, but they are glowing red, not orange. The Time Cell is essentially a Time Loop where the detainee lives out a moment in time repeatedly until they are removed from the cell.
Loki lands in Asgard when he is put into the cell. The moment he lands in is a moment straight out of Norse Mythology, and not one we’ve seen in the MCU. Lady Sif (wife of Thor) appears with a wad of cut har in her hand, calls him a few names, punches him, and walks off. Over and over and over again. In a prank, Loki has cut her hair and has zero remorse.

Titans, Kree, and Vampires—Oh my!
Hunter B-15 and a few other hunters are guarding Sylvie in one of the Time Theatres. Mobius wonders out loud to B-15 as he walks by, “You know, we brought in Kree, Titans, vampires. Why is it that two orphan demigods are such a pain in the ass?”
Mobius throwing in vampires to the mix of variants the TVA has brought in is a nice nod to Blade, which Marvel has slated as part of Phase 5.
Just Ride Around on My Jet Ski
When Mobius and Loki come out of the Time Theatre where Mobius places the Time Cell, Renslayer is waiting for them. She is waiting to confront him for swapping their TemPads. He answers the question she kept asking earlier that he ignored: if you could go anywhere and anytime where would it be?
You know where I’d go if I could go anywhere? Wherever it is I’m really from. Yeah, wherever I had a life before the TVA came along. Maybe I had a jet ski. That’s what I’d like to do. Just ride around on my jet ski. –Mobius
The jet ski is a callback to episode 2 when Loki is at Mobius’ desk and reading the magazine about jet skis. Mobius says he’s always wanted to ride one. We suspect it’s a clue to his past life before the TVA stole him and wiped his memories.

Mindless Androids
In the Time-Keepers’ chambers, a battle ensues between Loki and Sylvie vs. The Time-Keepers, Renslayer, and the Hunters. Sylvie throws her sword at a Time-Keeper’s head and slashes it off. As it tumbles to the floor, they see it is an android head.

Post-Credit Scene
Loki awakens to 4 Loki variants staring over him: Alligator Loki, Boastful Loki, Classic Loki, and Kid Loki. He asks if he’s in Hel. In the background, we see lots of destruction and decimation, including Avengers Tower. It’s reminiscent of Beyonders’ Battleworld from the comics.
Could this be where all the pruned variants go?
The four new Loki Variants are:
- Classic Loki (Richard E. Grant): wearing a version of Loki’s classic costume from his first appearance in the “Journey Into Mystery” #85 (1962); the costume is similar to the classic Halloween costumes Wanda and Vision wear in their 80s episode in “WandaVision.”
- Kid Loki (Jack Veal): inspired by a more recent comic arc in which Loki dies and is reborn as a child, a storyline beginning in Thor #617
- Boastful Loki (DeObia Oparei)
- Alligator Loki: his horned helmet identifies it as another Loki variant, though not a direct comic link
