A few weeks ago I was introduced to the sous vide cooking method. Since then, I’ve been creating recipes for use in my Sous Vide Supreme Demi Water Oven. I love rice pudding, and it’s so simple to make. Here’s the Maple Raisin Rice Pudding recipe I created.
Sous Vide Maple Raisin Rice Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cups skim milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cups Arborio rice
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Directions
Fill your Sous Vide Supreme Demi Water Oven and preheat the water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place all of the ingredients into a Sous Vide vacuum-sealable bag and stir. Vacuum seal the bag according to the manufacturer’s directions.
Place the vacuum-sealed bag in the Sous Vide Supreme Demi water over and cook for 2 hours.
Carefully remove the vacuum-sealed bag from the water oven. Cut open the bag and stir ingredients to fluff rice. Serve. Sprinkle a touch of cinnamon on each bowl if desired.
