Music is such an important component of the storytelling in the Guardians of the Galaxy Trilogy.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige’s Guilty Pleasure
During the recent press day for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the talent and cast shared their guilty pleasure music.
Nathan Fillion, the moderator for the panel, asked Marvel Studios President Feige about his guilty pleasure music. “Guilty pleasures. What’s on your Zune device for guilty pleasure listening?”
KEVIN FEIGE: “I do believe in guilty pleasures. ‘Cause some of my favorite things to listen to is the incidental music from the “Price is Right,” circa 1970.”
And the reactions were fire.
KAREN GILLAN: “What?”
POM KLEMENTIEFF: “What is that?”
SEAN GUNN: “Like, in your car? When you’re driving, do you listen to it?”
KEVIN FEIGE: “Maybe.”
KAREN GILLAN: “There’s so much to unpack here.”
KEVIN FEIGE: “I felt guilty that everybody thought there was no guilty pleasure music.”
