PAW Patrol: The Movie is Paw-some Fun
PAW Patrol: The Movie is the PAW Patrol team’s first feature film and they nailed it. Based on “PAW Patrol,” the 9-season animated series by Nickelodeon, kids who are fans of the series will be enamored with the feature film PAW Patrol: The Movie. While the show is absolutely kid-oriented, it’s just entertaining enough to hold the parents’ interest while keeping the parents engaged and mildly entertained.
We love that PAW Patrol: The Movie has kept some of the voice cast from the original series cast (including Ron Pardo, Kingsley Marshall, Keegan Hedley, Callum Shoniker, and Lilly Bartlam) as well as some fun celebrity talent and cameos like Dax Shepard, Randall Park, Tyler Perry, and Jimmy Kimmel.
PAW Patrol: The Movie is the perfect length for little kids. Comin in at under 90 minutes, no one is looking for a potty break (parents included) like they are with some of our favorite adult superhero feature films.
We loved the music in PAW Patrol: The Movie and would have gladly taken more Adam Levine.

PAW Patrol: The Movie Em-barks on a mission to save Adventure City!
The PAW Patrol team heads to Adventure City to save the citizens from Mayor Humdinger from taking away all the libraries and museums in town and building ridiculous, impractical skyscrapers and subways. Over the course of the movie, the team has some obstacles to overcome, both internal and external.
Overall, we liked the messaging in PAW Patrol: The Movie, as well. Overcoming your fears and self-doubt. Teamwork. Standing up to bullies—all messages that are great for kids and even better for parents to talk about with their kids.

Taking a nod from competitors
We love that this movie streamed as well as had a theatrical release. That nod to what competitors had been doing is nice. Not everyone wants to go to the theatre (even still) and with little kids, that stream-at-home option is even more imperative. Thanks, Paramount! Oh, and if you’re already going to stream this on Paramount Plus, you can watch all 9 seasons of “PAW Patrol,” too.

What Doesn’t Work with PAW Patrol: The Movie Review
While we loved some of the fun celebrity talent and cameos like Randall Park, Tyler Perry, and Jimmy Kimmel, we could have 100% done without cameos like Kim Kardashian West. Does she actually enhance the film in any way? Not that we could tell. In fact, I think my kids lost brain cells because she was in the movie. Pretty sue Paramount/Nickelodeon/Spin Master would have made more money leaving her out.
