When was the last time you had a new bra? And when was the last time you had a new bra that was fit properly? Yeah, that’s what I thought. A properly fitting bra is like a boob job. It’s amazing what a properly bra fitting will do.
Title Nine is holding their “Fit Fest”on June 1st and 2nd, 2016, (RSVP in store, or by calling 800-342-4448), and you can get yourself professionally fitted for the right sports bra for you by one of their “Bravangelists.” I’ve been fitted for bras several time before, but this was the first time I’d been fit for a sports bra. You need someone who knows what they are doing to get in there and give the girls a little manhandling (womanhandling?) and show you how to properly fit for a bra. Most women are actually wearing the wrong size bra. It’s incredible what a good sports bra will do. I’ve spent years doing high-impact sports and needing to keep the girls from hitting me in the face when running or jumping. It’s not easy to find bras that look good and provide good coverage and support when you’re a unique size (34F right now; fortunately I lost a little weight last year and dropped a cup size), but when you have a Bravangelist helping, you’d be amazed at the options available.
I ended up with the Panache Marvel Underwire. Interestingly, Panache also makes my day-to-day bra, too. Aptly named like the superhero it is, you’ll “marvel” at the gravity-defying support of this bra and the complete separation—it actually gives you two distinct breasts while providing support, unlike many sports bras that give you the classic uniboob. Careful contouring augmented by cleverly channeled underwire keeps your girls perky all workout long. The other thing I love about it is that it converts to an racer-back using a j-hook. It’s best for those with a small rib cage and large breasts, just like me! Poly/nylon/spandex. 32–38 D, DD, E(3D), F(4D). This is just one of a myriad incredible bras available.
Did you know that the average woman is a size 36C, but most sports bras are only A and B cups? Title Nine has a variety of sizes for every shape, size, and workout, or as they say, “whether you’re a 32AA or a 40DDD.” I’m planning to take my oldest daughter in, too, because she’s ready for one of those AA or A cups herself.
You can get a personalized fitting at the using their online ” or by calling 800-342-4448.
The best part is that Title Nine is offering a free bra and personalized fitting for one lucky reader!
