Thanks to the Washington Square Mall for inviting us to share in the magic of the HGTV Santa HQ again this holiday season!
We love taking an annual trip to the North Pole to see who’s been Naughty or Nice.
At Santa HQ, you can customize your individual experience by using an augmented reality to view Santa’s Workshop and Observatory in magical ways. You can download the Elf-Ray Vision app or use a provided tablet to discover the enchanting world of Santa HQ in stunning 2D and 3D digital screens. It’s a fun way to see the extra behind-the-scenes magic at Santa’s workshop at the North Pole! Discover holiday wonderment in this immersive and innovative experience with visual elements that transport you straight to the North Pole. Enter the HQ to be scanned by the digital Naughty or Nice O’Meter, snap an “Elfie Selfie” in Santa’s workshop and star in your own holiday video. Then onto the North Pole Observatory to experience the world only visible through Elf-Ray vision all before meeting the big man in red himself! My girls love doing this activity at the North Pole each year and it’s right where we need to run a few holiday errands!
One of the things I loved as a child was selecting angels from our local angel tree. Sharing Trees are a great way for kids to learn about giving to others during the holiday season. We may not have grown up well-off, but there were always many in much more need than my family. We had a roof over our heads, clothing on our backs, and food was on the table. That meant others needed more than us and our parents made sure that we were well aware of our circumstance. We were grateful for our Christmases, even if they weren’t large. The tradition of choosing from a Sharing Tree is something we’ve passed on to our children and it;s something we look forward to every year. We grab a card or two everywhere we see one all season long.
Guests are also encouraged to participate in “Help Through Holiday Giving” by selecting a heart-shaped ornament from the Sharing Tree and purchase a gift for someone in need in our community. Unwrapped gifts should be selected and returned to the Sharing Tree by December 20 to ensure Christmas delivery.
Come explore the magical and engaging world of Santa HQ for visits with Santa and photos through December 24. Reservations are available, but not required. Visit santa-hq.com for more information.

This looks so fun. I need to take my son to see if he is on the naughty or nice list this year. I have a feeling he is right in the middle.
