One of the reasons we struggled with having a cable service was that I was rarely home to watch TV. It stinks to get into a TV show and not be able to watch it because you aren’t home to stay caught up. It’s also a bit crazy to pay for cable if you aren’t home to watch it.
Thanks to Xfinity for sponsoring this conversation about the new Peacock streaming service. As always, all opinions are our own.
Why Xfinity Stream App is good for travelers
With all of my work travel, I was never in the right place to catch a show every week at the same time. I’d given up watching live TV years ago. However, with Xfinity, I can stream my live TV content on the go! I can watch a show that I’m expecting on a regular schedule (say, “American Ninja Warrior” on NBC at 8 p.m. PT on Monday nights) on my iPhone or iPad; I don’t have to be at my house logged in, I can simply be logged in to my Xfinity account.
How I watch live TV on the go
With the Xfinity Stream App, I can catch my favorite live TV shows on the go or while I’m traveling at a later date on my streaming device. While I’m in my RV or in a hotel, I can stream a show like “Wynonna Earp” (thank you, SyFy for Season 4 now airing!) or watch a movie like Thor: Ragnorok from my phone or iPad.
Watch your recorded programs on the Xfinity Stream App
Have you recorded something on your DVR? You can watch that content wherever you stream your Xfinity Stream App content. You can even schedule your content to record right in your Xfinity Stream App, which is great if you haven’t been home in weeks and you want to schedule something new.
